FAQs

How do we get there?

Our address is: Foxglove Field, Gears Lane, Goldsithney, Penzance, TR209LD. The easiest way to arrive is to avoid Goldsithney and head to Marazion on the A30. From there, head left up Shop Hill before turning immediately right, then follow along to Plain-an-Gwarry and right onto Gears Lane.

 

For those arriving by public transport, the nearest station is St. Erth, from which you can get a taxi to us at Foxglove Field.

What do we need to bring?

All bookings will be provided with bedding, with towels also available at an extra cost. Basic kitchen amenities will be provided, including oil, seasoning and some spices for cooking as well as utensils. We will also be providing soap via our partnership with Slosh to operate in as environmentally friendly a way as possible and ask you not to bring your own.

Can we cook on site?

Yes! We offer a single plug-in induction hob to cook on, with a small fridge available to store food.

Can we bring a dog?

Unfortunately we don’t allow dogs on site.

Do you offer cancellations?

We offer 50% refunds up to a fortnight before your stay, while stays cancelled within 24 hours of your arrival are non-refundable.

Do you require deposits?

There is no deposit required for your stay, but we do ask for a cleaning fee.

What can we do in the area?

What facilities do you have on site?

At Foxglove Field, we have two toilets, one hot shower, one cold shower and basic kitchen amenities.

Is there power on site?

Our tents are powered by solar lights, but you can charge your phones and other devices in the facilities block.

What local shops are nearby? 

Our nearest shop is a local corner shop in Goldsithney, just a five minute walk from Foxglove Field. To stock up, Penzance – just 15 minutes in the car – has a large Sainsbury’s, LIDL, Morrison’s and Tesco.

Is the site family friendly?

We're currently an adult only site.
