Five Reasons To Visit Cornwall This Summer

Cornwall is a magical place, with its cliffs and coves, hidden valleys and hidden beaches. It's also full of quirky little gems to discover and this is one of them. Foxglove field is the perfect destination for that special holiday where you can relax, unwind and let your mind drift away.

1. Incredible views

Cornwall has some of the most amazing views there are, with a beautiful coastal landscape. Just down the road from Foxglove Field is the picturesque village of Marazion, where you can wander around and take in the views of St Michael's Mount across the sea.

2. the food

Cornwall is home to so much delicious food, and we have endless recommendations. Whether you love fresh fish, a quick bite on the beach or a tasty pub lunch, there's definitely something for everyone. Check out our activities page here to find out more about some of our favourites!

3. the beaches

Cornish beaches are some of the best there are, and we're so lucky to be close to some beautiful ones. Praa Sands is just down the road, where you can take surfing lessons or go kayaking. If a secluded private spot is more your thing, there are quiet coves all along the coast.

4. Activities

There's no shortage of fun activities in Cornwall. We're close to the historic St Just mining district, where you can tour the old mines, and if you're an art lover, the renowned Tate St Ives is just a 30 minute drive away. One of the undisputed jewels of Cornwall, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno is one of the most stunning places in the world to watch theatre. In a venue carved into the cliff and overlooking the sea, enjoy a play and some of the best views in the UK.

5. Walks and trails

What better way to take in the beautiful views than taking a walk down the coastal path. There are loads of beautiful walks from our site and we've compiled a list along with maps of some of our favourites here.
