Is glamping the same as camping?

Updated: Jul 12, 2022

We believe that those of you who want to go glamping or camping have very similar aims: to get away from the hustle and bustle of cities and towns to connect with nature and take a hard-earned deep breath in the countryside.

While camping largely revolves around bringing your own tent and having a self-sufficient holiday, glamping spots like Foxglove Field do all that work for you. At our picturesque field on the south west tip of Cornwall, we have bell tents with double beds and comfy mattresses, ideal for a romantic stay or getaway with friends. All our tents are lit by solar fairy lights, with 100% cotton bedding provided.

We also have all the facilities you need for a perfect stay. Amenities available at Foxglove Field include car parking, one hot and one cold shower, kitchen with kettle, fridge and plugs for phone charging, a vegetable garden, and a huge range of wildlife and nature as part of our biodiversity and rewilding programme.

While we grew up on camping holidays and adore sleeping under the stars, we believe that you deserve a little bit more, and bring the escape and fresh air of nature along with luxurious accommodation to add a little bit of extravagance to your countryside holiday.

Book your stay with us here.
